Sherry Pittman, the Inspirational Writer for the Capital City Courier newspaper, was born in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.  Her earliest and fondest childhood memories are from the great state of Mississippi while living with an Uncle and Aunt.  Most of her elementary through high school years was spent growing up in poverty stricken East St. Louis, Illinois.

Immediately upon graduation from high school, Sherry attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where she received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication with a Business Administration minor.  As a result of both her high school and college graduations, Sherry had earned the distinct honor of being the first to receive these accolades in her family.

Sherry is the executive producer and host of two weekly television shows ‘Heart to Heart’ and ‘House to House’.  Now, for well over ten years, ‘Heart to Heart’ has passionately been motivating others to be the best they can be.  ‘House to House’ is her second television program where she speaks with real estate industry professionals on a wide array of real estate topics.

As a licensed real estate broker, she has owned her own business, SPR Sherry Pittman REALTY, Inc. for nearly ten years.  She is recognized among the million dollar sellers in the real estate sales arena.  Her business focuses on residential and investment sales, as well as property management.

Sherry has enjoyed the gratification of training all levels of management and employees, as a past executive in government, in the area of human resources, for more than fifteen years. 

She has spoken to various organizations including conferences, churches, schools, universities, retreats and government ranging from trainer to keynote speaker.  As a vibrant, creative, and articulate speaker, Sherry has participated in various speaking settings including competitions and is currently a member of Toastmasters International.
